First of all i would like to make it clear that i am not connected in anyway to ucn, i dont receive free bait etc, just another paying punter probably one of the
first few lads that gave it a whirl when the company was publicly launched, so a little feedback is what this is.
The company was launched on the Fishing Warehouse forum back in may of
this year by Pete and Dean..................
ENZYMES ! my ears pricked up ! or was it my eyes popped out as i was reading it ..."Tool". Well the old grey matter lurched into action and i cast my mind back to the writings of tim paisley ,keith sykes back in the late 80s Enzymes back then where used etc to some success mainly in milk protein baits, but i believe it was a very tricky avenue to go down not for the faint hearted.
20 years on if these guys have truly mastered the use of enzymes in carp food, jobs a good un me thinks ! always on the look out for something different like we do i read with interest petes posts on the forum and came to the conclusion.... he shits us not ! even though he is a southener and as us northern
lads know you do have to take what they speal with a pinch of salt at times and
they do rabbit rabbit ha haa.
One of the big pluses to my using the bait was that I knew I would be the only one using it on the Shropshire lake i was to concentrate on this season and it would be different from whatever else was being chucked in and as we all know
that can only work in our favour.
Coin was spent ouch ! that hurt now theres a northern trait , and the bait duly arrived.......first things first bag open nose in bag mmmm..... nice heavy aroma if you know what i mean, meaty, fishy bit spicey tasted spicey to, roll out the cliche "I just knew they would have it", and have it they did from the first trip out no blanks through the summer months and culminating in a new pb the biggest one swimming in the lake.......nice.
Yes the bait does soften up inside, but still retains a skin which is not problem using at catty ranges which is probably what most of us fish most of the time. They do seek the bait out i had quite a few just casting 3 bait stringers to showing fish beyond catty range.
I was more than happy with my results and wont be using much else for the forseable future.
well i wont bang on to much all I will say is................ The Enzyme "IGNORE THIS AT YOUR PERIL !".
Big uns
Steve
