In 2006 I have been fortunate enough (Thanks to Miller!!) to have the chance to fish a legendary carp fishery and the "Enzyme" has made it one of my best ever seasons.
I love my carp fishing but over the last few years I have fished quiet waters that only have limited big fish in them or I have had limited time due to work etc. This year was a little different and thanks to the support of my future wife, Lu, things have been great.
The water we have fished is small but tricky! The fish can do a disappearing act very quickly and they do!
Early season results were ok but Miller did bank the lakes biggest carpus and what a beasty it was, well done mate.
I took my first fish late in June (21-12) and from then on the season only got better. I found a swim which wasnt being fished regularly and applied as much Enzyme as I can afford as often as I could, generally fishing 2 nights per session. In addition I also used my own cooked hemp with lashings of chilli powder, crushed chillis, cayenne pepper, coriander and some paprika. If you havent tried
the spicy hemp attack or seen it used on your water go on give it a go - you know you want to!
The months of June and July passed with fish of 27-08, 26-00, and 25-00 adding to my tally, but August, despite being a hot one weather wise was also a great month for me. In a 3 fish catch I took a 28-00 mirror, a 19-08 common and the
one I had been waiting for for many years, a 30-00 common, new PB common and first 30 for 12 years!!! Yes, 12 years!!
September was equally kind to me and in my only 48 hour session that month I
nabbed a 19-00 mirror and to cap it all an awesome mirror of 33-00, a new PB and second 30 of the year.
Sadly all my holiday had now run out so fishing was put on hold for the footy season, which had its revenge by leaving me with a bad knee injury and surgery to follow in January ! Should have trained more and not fished so much!
Thanks to Apples, Miller and the guys at UCN, its been a cracker and I will be priming the freezer (or buying a bigger one!) for an even bigger batch of Enzyme for next year !!

Update:
Been using Enzyme all season and decided to do a few days at the end of the season. I baited a spot near some marginal snags for a couple of weeks.
First night was quiet but at around 08.30 a PB mirror of 36.01 turned up! the
fish clearly loves the bait as it was excreting bait all over the mat.
Another Enzyme biggie to top a great season on the bait.
